OBJECTIVE
The focus of this workshop was to relate and understand (2D) Communication and apply it using PROJECTION MAPPING techniques over the objects that have a volume (3D).
Working with a fellow designer, we came up with a concept of using a regular trash-can as a metaphor for the planet earth where we throw in all our waste without being conscious about the adverse effects of it. In this display, visuals of what goes inside the trash comes to life comes to life through the medium of 3D Projection over it, where materials are seen disintegrating into the matter that makes the earth. The 3D installation tries to question the concept of what trash is and what deserves to go inside this trash-can of planet earth.
